Wuss’up This Week: Every day economic reports are released that can sway interest rates in either direction. Today we’ve got Construction Spending, tomorrow Jobless Claims, and on Friday Janet “quit yer” Yellen speaks which can have a big impact on where rates sit over the next few weeks.
For now rates remain pretty stable. A 30-year fixed rate is around 4% now, with ARM rates about a half a point lower. As usual, rates will vary based on type of home, equity in the home, credit score, and if you like this list of 40 inspirational quotes

Forgiveness Quote of the Day 2: “Sometimes the first step to forgiveness is understanding that the other person is an idiot.” – @OKGambler
Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who last week guessed Drew Barrymore. Want to be entered into a drawing to win Who’s Awesome? You’re Awesome Bubble Gum? Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “It was on this date in 1997 that our song hit # 1 on the Billboard Charts.
