Invention Quote of the Day: “Of all our inventions for mass communication, pictures still speak the most universally understood language.” – Walt Disney
Wuss’up This Week: Not a whole lot of data being released that can shake interest rates. Today at 1:15 we have what’s called the Fed Meeting Adjourns, which means Fed Chairman Janet Yellen will probably announce they are not raising the prime rates just yet, talk about the status of our economy, and report where she did her St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl.
What do interest rates have in common with my high school career? They are both uninspired. 30-year fixed rates seem content to hang in the low-to-mid 4s while ARM rates are about a point lower. As usual, rates can vary based on type of home, equity in the home, credit score, and if you ever watched one of the best cult TV shows.
I’m pretty sure the digestive problems I have today are the result of thechemicals in cereals of the 1990s. Still, I’d do it all over again.
I never felt sorry for foreigners having to learn The English language. Until now…
For a guy that’s been accused of having a one-track mind, these horrible logos are proof positive.
Maybe one day my theory that Batman is really just a guy that’s good at karate and not a true superhero will be validated like the dude who hypothesized the Big Bang Theory.

Invention Quote of the Day 2: “Just how hairy was the person who invented a shampoo called Head & Shoulders?” – Selina (@glamrockgoth)
Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who guessed James Taylor last week. Want to be entered into a drawing to win a Saved By the Bell board game? Simply email me the answer to this week’s “Who Am I?” question. Good luck: “Yippee – I turn 59 today. I’ve been in over 60 films – including one in the late 1990s where one of the New Kids on the Block shot and killed me. That was a great film nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Picture but didn’t win anything – just not our Night I guess. From 1987-2000 I was married to another actress but we divorced and she ended up marrying a much younger man who replaced a man on a show about men.”
