Rates Are Stable, No Bull!
Growing up Quote of the Day: “Growing up is losing some illusions in order to acquire others.” – Virginia Woolf
Tip of the Day: Blotting leads to less bloating.
Here’s a clown with more coordination than me.
Wuss’up This Week: Today we’ve got a 10-yr Note Auction (if a lot of note buyers rates will go down, these make a great Christmas gift!), tomorrow Jobless Claims, and 30-yr Note Auction (these make a great Hanukah gift!). Not much going on tomorrow which means rates will most likely stay flat.
Interest rate update: “I expect them to remain low and not go up before the end of the year.” Sounds like a quote from any of my high school teachers, but in reality it’s from one of the Board of Governors of the FOMC (The Fed) talking about rates. Today you’ll find them in the high-3s/low-4s with ARM rates .50-.75% lower. As usual rates will vary based on type of home, equity in the home, credit score, and if you like watching tennis Jello in slow motion.
Don’t forget to remember: Any purchase or refinance loan over $240k I will waive all lender fees – a savings of $1,050! Grab yourself a cup of instant karma and pass this deal onto any friends, family, coworkers, or people that like the top 20 failed McDonalds menu items that can use this savings.

Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who guessed Lacey Chabert last week. Want to be entered into a drawing to win a Beard Measuring T-Shirt? Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “I turn 56 today and my advice for you is to do as I say, and not as I do. You know me from TV where I partnered with a girl who shares her name with an old Laker’s center, and a guy who told me, “Good luck on your journey,” when I left the show at the end of 2010. Was he trying a play on words?”
