Thinking About Movies, Rates, Tickling, and Dogs
Thinking Quote of the Day: “Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?” –Winnie the Pooh
Wuss’up This Week: Not a whole lot being released this week that could shake the interest rates. Today we have the FOMC Minutes (this is different than the BMOC I published in high school), tomorrow Jobless Claims, and on Friday the Consumer Price Index.
Interest rates remain low, Mortgage Fans. Today we find the 30-year fixed in the mid-to-upper-3s with ARM rates about .50% lower. As usual rates will vary based on credit score, type of home, equity in the home, and if your home was ever near a Blockbuster video store.
…And speaking of Blockbuster, I miss seeing classic art on VHS covers.
Don’t forget to remember: Any purchase or refinance loan over $240k I will waive all lender fees – a $1,050 savings! Grab yourself a cup of instant karma and pass this info onto any friends, family, coworkers, or dogs with manners that can use this gift.
Thinking Quote of the Day 2: “If you really think about it, James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman tickling each other would be pretty much the greatest thing ever.” – @sween
Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those of you last week who guessed Sheryl Crow. Want to be entered into a drawing to win Who’s Awesome? You’re Awesome Gum Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “It was on this day in 1971 I made my musical TV debut on The Johnny Cash Show. The year before I scored my first number one hit thanks to my friend Carol King. Speaking of hits, my ex-wife had a #1 hit that I’m almost sure was not about me – I’m not cocky or arrogant.”
