Hey Mortgage Fans, be the first on your block to download my app to your phone.
Wuss’up This Week: Reports are released daily about the economy that can sway interest rates in either direction. This week it all centers on jobs. Today we’ve got the ADP Employment Report, tomorrow Jobless Claims, and Friday’s biggie The October Employment Report. If these are bad for the economy rates will go down, and vice-versa. What’s that, you say? You can’t concentrate on rates because you’re hungry?? Okay, here’s ten food facts for ya.
Interest rates remain in the high-3s/low-4s for a 30yr fixed with ARM rates about .50-.75% lower. As usual rates will vary based on type of home, equity in the home, credit score, and if you know the meanings behind classic song lyrics.
Don’t forget to remember: Any purchase or refinance loan over $240k I will waive all lender fees – a savings of $1,050! Grab yourself a cup of instant karma and pass this info onto any friends, family, coworkers, or people that like to learn interesting facts about California.
Book Quote of the Day 2: “For an ‘adult’ bookstore this place has a LOT of picture books.” – @meganamram
Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who guessed Julia Roberts last week. Want to be entered into a drawing to win Monster Slippers? Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “Today I turn 46. I made a movie a few years ago about an attorney and his car (funny, some advertising exec must have seen me in that movie). A couple years after that film I was cast in a movie that takes place in Dallas which I liked since I’m from Texas. Ahh…great memories from Texas except for that time in ’99 when I was arrested for playing a musical instrument.”
