Dream Quote of the Day: “I’m sick of following my dreams. I’m just going to ask them where they’re goin’ and hook up with them later.” –Mitch Hedberg

Hey Mortgage Fans, be the first on your block to download my app to your phone.

Did’ja Know: It was on this day in 1933 that Congress passed the Home Owners Refinance Act which gave federal funds to citizens for mortgages and even repairs to their homes.

Wuss’up This Week: Every day reports about the economy are released that can sway interest rates in either direction. Today we’ve got Janet “I’m talking not” Yellen making an announcement at 1:00 that the Fed will most likely not raise rates at this time. Tomorrow we’ve got jobless claims, and on Friday Housing Starts. If any of these point to a weak economy rates will most likely drift down and vice-versa if it looks good for the economy.

Interest rates remain in the mid-to-upper 3s on a 30yr fixed, with ARM rates about a half a point lower. As usual rates will vary based on type of home, equity in the home, credit score, and if you did any of these illegal things in the 90s.

Don’t forget to remember: Any purchase or refinance loan over $240k I will waive all lender fees – a $1,050 savings! Grab yourself a cup of instant karma and pass this info onto any friends, family, coworkers or pig tail straightening people that can use this gift.

Dream Quote of the Day 2: “Just landed my dream job of “before” picture.” -@meganamram

Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who guessed Joan Rivers last week. Want to be entered into a drawing to win a Teamwork Tape Dispenser? Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck:

“Today I turn 52 – I may be older but not looking to date younger guys. Way back in time my career started before the concert as I appeared in a Tampax commercial and was the first to use the word ‘period’ on TV. Speaking of private parts my friends have joked that if my acting gigs dry up I can always go into the adult film industry and not have to change my name. But that won’t happen because I made a ton of money in the 80s and 90s in TV, and then the late 90s in a trilogy of movies where the title is the opposite of whispering.”
