Wuss’up This Week: Every day reports about our economy are released that can sway interest rates in either direction, and this is a big, big week for employment reports that can set the tone on rates for the rest of the year. Today we’ve got ADP Employment Report, tomorrow Jobless Claims, and Friday’s biggie Employment Numbers for July (expected: 185k new jobs, unemployment at 4.8%).

Interest rates are stable and still low, Mortgage Fans. A 30yr fixed remains in the low-to-mid 3s with ARM rates about a half a point lower. As usual rates will vary based on type of home, equity in the home, credit score, and how much you know about the election of 1800

Don’t Forget to Remember: Any purchase or refinance loan over $240k I will waive ALL lender fees – a $1,050 savings! Grab yourself a cup of instant karma and pass this info onto any friends, family, coworkers, or owners of cute dogs that can use this gift.

Giant Quote of the Day 2: Saw a group of ants carrying a Funyun and it made me wish my friends and I had a giant Funyun.” – @sucittaM

Timeout For Trivia: Congrats to those who guessed Maya Rudolph last week. Want to be entered into a drawing to win a You Have Just Been Poisoned glass. Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “It’s my birthday today which I’ll celebrate but not at the White House, those days are gone. My real last name is of Spanish descent but I changed it to a word that means brightness or gleaming. (*there’s a kid in the Jimmy Neutron cartoon that has both my last names as his name). Speaking of kids, you might know a couple of mine. One who likes to eat breakfast at school, the other who put a new spin on a Michael J Fox role.”
